Our love for this fascinating and exuberant breed started in 2002 when Eric bought me our first boxer, "Max", for my birthday.  Because of Max we knew we would never be the same and our house would never be without a boxer. 

At the time Max was purchased we knew nothing about show or pet quality boxers, reputable or backyard breeders, or health testing.  Eric was just looking for a special pet for that special occasion.  We both wanted a pet that would be an excellent addition to our family and who would be great with our kids. 

Sadly, after only 3 short months with our very much loved puppy Max we had to make that awful and very hard decision to put him to sleep at only 5 months of age.  He was in liver failure due to complications he was born with. 

After many website changes we have finally come up with a fitting and forever name for our kennel.  We have chosen the name "ForMax Boxers" as a tribute to our baby boy.  Without him we would probably have never known the unconditional love a boxer would give and probably would not have a boxer in our lives today.  This name we have chosen is not only a tribute to Max but also a promise that we will do everything within our power to prevent another family from having to go through the pain and heartache we had to endure. 

To ensure we produce healthy boxers we perform health testing on all our breeding stock at the appropriate ages and will provide hard copies from the examining vets if requested.  Our goal is to produce boxers that exude perfect health, the classic boxer temperament, and the correct type set forth by the AKC standard.

Our prayer and wish is to provide new families with a healthy boxer who will give you many years of love and happiness.  We hope you will have many years of memories and accomplishments both in and out of the show ring.
